Humans have been seeking to shift our consciousness and increase our understanding of ourselves and the world around us by using psychedelics for thousands of years. Every indigenous culture had a plant or a medicine that they used to bridge the worlds of the physical and the spiritual, obtaining integration.
People who currently walk these paths tend to do so because they are on a journey, seeking enlightenment, healing and integration. However, these experiences can be uncomfortable. When we step into altered states of consciousness we may end up destabilised, uncomfortable and with more questions than when we began.
While most people report that they experience deep healing after their psychedelic experiences, some may find it challenging to resume life as normal. The visions, thoughts or feelings experienced are not always easy to understand. Perhaps you’ve received a clear message of what you need to do, but your environment, beliefs, and thoughts are keeping you stuck.
As a result, reintegrating into a world that you now see in a completely different way can be jarring.
Psychedelic Integration Therapy can help.
Integration Therapy weaves together a range of different modalities. This therapy steps outside the boundaries of pure shamanic lineage or traditional talk therapies. When you engage in Integration Therapy a range of techniques may be called upon to help you gain understanding and insight, collect resources and create a plan for how you are going to bring your visions to fruition.
Some of the tools I use are:
Protection and clearing
Acceptance and Commitment Therapy
Cognitive Behavioural Therapy
Solution Focused Techniques
Work with me.
In addition to the qualifications you can read about on other pages of this site, I’m a trained psycho-spiritual shamanic practitioner. I have a physical practice that you can visit in SW London. I also work online via zoom (free, encrypted videoconferencing software). If you would like to work with me you can contact me on firstname.lastname@example.org. Alternatively, you can book a free chat with me through my online booking form. If you would prefer to work in a group setting there are groups all across the UK. You can find one near you.
Psychedelic Integration Therapy follows a Harm Reduction model and offers a non-judgmental space. Sessions are beneficial regardless of where you are in your psychedelic journey. Perhaps you’re curious or planning to partake, or maybe you’ve already explored altered states of consciousness. . This therapy is a safe space to explore options, clarify intentions, learn tools for self care, and process experiences.
