Before you commit to starting therapy with anyone, you want to know a little about them…

In life, I’ve usually taken the path less traveled, and as a result of this, I have a wealth of life experiences that I can bring to the table.  My mum has always said that if I can do things the hard way, I will.  I love to learn and explore and I’m very curious about what’s going on in their world and our relationships and experiences and how we can make them better.

This curiosity has paid off, because I’ve studied and learned a wide array of different skills that I can employ at the right moment to help you make the changes you want.

For quite a long time I was really ill and as a result I didn’t get to spend much time outdoors actually interacting with people, so I learned as much as I could about them through books and study. I’ve recently learned that I’m autistic which goes a long way to explaining some of the challenges I’ve faced with communicating with others and building relationships and it directly influenced my passion for learning as much as I can about humans and what makes us tick.  My quest to understand has led me to achieve qualifications in psychology, CBT, mindfulness, hypnotherapy, coaching, NLP, counselling, and psychospiritual shamanism. I teach hypnotherapy and coaching to students at the London Hypnotherapy Academy and I’m currently prevaricating about whether I should commit several years of my life to achieving a medical degree.

But really, it doesn’t matter what I know how to do, what’s important is how you feel in sessions and after sessions.

My role is to provide you with a safe and supportive environment where you can explore freely without fear of judgment.

When you work with me, we take a positive and solution-focused approach, exploring your life and what’s working as well as looking at what isn’t. You’re unique and so your solutions are going to be unique. Rather than imposing one style of therapy or way of working on you, we use your model of the world and start from where you are.
